Which Dubai District is Right for You

When it comes to accommodations, Dubai has a vast range of choices within its districts. But how do you know which is right for you? Hopefully, we can provide you with the insight to help you choose the perfect place.

Palm Jumeirah: This is one of Dubai’s most sought after locations. Offering 5-star hotels and resorts, as well as, luxury villas and apartments, it is the ideal location for the perfect family holiday.
The Atlantis-The Palm is at the crescent of the Palm and is home to Dubai’s top premiere waterpark, AquaVenture.

Palm Jumeirah villas offer their own private beach as well as a private pool, and most of the apartments offer private beach access and a swimming pool, as well.

Dubai District, Palm Jumeirah

A bit higher priced than other areas of Dubai, this area is very much geared for an upscale family vacation.

Dubai Marina: For those who love the glitz and glamour of a cosmopolitan lifestyle, the Dubai Marina is the district for you.
Host to beautiful skyscrapers with amazing ocean and marina views, and plenty of shopping and night-time entertainment, it is the ideal spot for a honeymoon or romantic getaway, and business travelers looking for easy access to Dubai Internet and Media Cities.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR): Looking to combine the chic cosmopolitan lifestyle with the needs of a modern day family, then consider Jumeirah Beach Residence, referred to as JBR by local residences, as home.

“The Walk”, JBR’s popular attraction offers many boutiques and outdoor cafes where you can dine “al fresco” in a Euro-style setting. JBR also offers a family friendly public beach and easy access to Dubai Internet and Media Cities for those in Dubai on business.

Downtown Dubai: This area next to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is popular amongst families and business travelers alike. Business travelers appreciate its close proximity to Dubai’s financial district, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Dubai Worldtrade Centre (DWTC).
Families love being near the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest, and the famous Dubai Fountain, Dubai’s #1 attraction. The Dubai Metro is also nearby, allowing for quick and easy access to other areas of the city.

The Greens: Much more affordable than Palm Jumeirah, The Greens is another family-focused community that offers lakes, walking and bicycle trails, and plenty of park space to enjoy a family BBQ. It is also the ideal place for golf lovers, with 2 of the world’s top PGA courses.

Deira and Bur Dubai: The Deira and Bur Dubai Districts are the older, more established parts of Dubai, located in and around the Dubai Creek. The area encompasses more of the historical Dubai, and offers easy access to Dubai’s business and financial districts.

As an older district, it is home to many of Dubai’s lower cost hotels, although you can find many 5-star hotels in the area. Its population is diverse, a melting pot of cultures from around the world.
